Job Description
The MEP Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed electrical and MEP drawings, layouts, and schematics for infrastructure projects such as warehouse, industrial factory, cement,crusher, street light and MEP services on roads, bridges and utility networks. The role includes collaboration with engineers and other design professionals to ensure compliance with design standards, safety codes, and client specifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Draft cable routing, lighting systems, grounding, earthing, duct bank layouts, and utility coordination for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop detailed plans for power distribution, street lighting and lightening protection.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes (e.g.,Etihad water electricity (EWE), NEC, IEC, local municipal codes).
