Meraki Montessori 9-12 Teacher Full time, (Maternity Leave), Start Date: 17/08/2026

We are seeking a 9–12 Montessori teacher. Our Montessori class is an extension of the 6-9 class.We are looking for an enthusiastic and fun teacher who enjoys working as part of a team and who will actively contribute to school community. The available position is for a second AMI 6–12 trained guide.

We seek someone who brings genuine passion and meaningful life experience to the role.The ideal candidate will possess AMI or AMS Montessori training and an understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum.

Applicants must hold a teaching qualification recognised by the New Zealand Teachers’ Council, enabling teacher registration in New Zealand, as well as a Montessori elementary qualification.The terms of employment, including salary and responsibilities, will be based on the NZ Primary Teachers’ Collective Agreement.
