Job Description
Join OSM Thome as a Messman on board a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will support the galley and accommodation, helping to keep a clean, safe and comfortable environment for all crew.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Assist Cook/Chief Cook with food preparation and galley cleaning
- Set up and clear mess rooms for all meals
- Wash dishes, cutlery and galley utensils
- Clean mess rooms, pantries and related service areas
- Collect and dispose of garbage as per onboard procedures
- **Requirements**:
- Previous sea experience in the same or similar position preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents as per rank
- Good hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Basic English communication skills
