This role is ideal for operators who want to grow into full setup, programming, and even journeyman‑level sheet metal work through a state‑approved apprenticeship program.
**🔧 What You’ll Do**
+ **Set up and operate press brakes** (Cincinnati, Amada) to form sheet‑metal parts to precise specifications
+ **Run laser cutting equipment** and metal‑forming machines including LVD Strippit turrets
+ **Assist with or learn full machine setups** including tool changes and light setup tasks
+ **Read blueprints and work instructions** to determine dimensions, tolerances, and required operations
+ **Use precision measuring tools** such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for part inspection
