Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot heavy machinery and laboratory equipment used to extract and process metals.
• Testing & Analysis: Conduct routine tests and evaluate metals and alloys to support quality control and research.
• Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety protocols to reduce environmental impact and protect on-site workers.

Typical Education and Skills

• Background: An Associate’s degree, TV qualification, or vocational certificate in metallurgy, materials science, or mining engineering is highly recommended.
• Aptitude: A strong interest in chemistry, physics, and mathematics, coupled with the ability to handle sensitive testing devices and heavy machinery.
• Soft Skills: Ability to gather and interpret technical data, meticulous record-keeping, and strong communication skills
