Overview

The Microbiology and Sterilization Engineer (SME) is responsible for environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, and analytical testing performed at BD BOC Juarez and external laboratories. He/she oversees routine and non-routine work in environmental controlled rooms, maintains documentation for compliance, coordinates sterilization releases, investigations, validations, and manages environmental investigations during excursions. The SME leads the development of test methods, supports new product development and sustaining engineering, and implements corporate procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities Provide general supervision of microbiology samples. Maintain ECR/Clean room compliance and periodic certification. Direct and coordinate laboratory technician activities, including product testing and environmental monitoring.
