About the job Middleware Engineer (WAS Expert | Banking) Responsibilities:
Provide expert support and operations for WebSphere Application Server (WAS) alongside other middleware platforms like JBoss/Wildfly, Tomcat, Jetty, IIS, and MQ Series.
Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of WAS environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests related to WAS and middleware services.
Collaborate with development, project, and business teams to deliver integration and migration project goals.
Drive continuous improvements in middleware operations using automation and performance tuning.
Participate in DevOps activities including CI/CD pipelines, continuous monitoring, and compliance.
Develop and maintain documentation and workflows related to WAS and middleware platforms.
Engage in on-call support rotation and shift work as required.
