This role focuses on high-output MIG welding in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, producing steel components for trailers with precision and consistency. You will prepare materials, interpret blueprints, and perform quality checks to ensure structurally sound welds that meet production standards and specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate heavy-duty MIG welding equipment to fuse steel components for trailers quickly, accurately, and in line with production quotas.
+ Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, and fitting base metal pieces prior to the welding process.
+ Read and interpret engineering designs, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure trailers and components are built to specification.
+ Perform high-quality welds on galvanized steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel, maintaining consistent weld quality and appearance.
