Day In The Life
We are looking for a Milling Machine Operator to help build the roads of tomorrow. The operator will control the milling machine, maintain depth and slope, and manage maintenance tasks such as tooth changes and greaser monitoring. They will assess work areas, troubleshoot obstacles, and keep records of milled surfaces and quantities.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform daily service and preventive maintenance and document it.
- Keep equipment clean and maintain operators’ area.
- Collaborate with General Contractors to finish jobs efficiently.
- Perform required physical labor in an outdoor setting.
- Assist crew members as needed and take on other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior road‑construction experience is an asset.
- AZ License preferred.
- Skid‑steer experience preferred.
