Key Responsibilities

Conduct planned preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.

Perform breakdown maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

Fault-find and repair industrial machinery, motors, drives, gearboxes, pumps and conveyors.

Maintain continuous casting machinery, rolling mill equipment and material handling systems.

Install, commission and test new equipment and machinery.

Conduct alignment, fitting, assembly and replacement of mechanical components.

Troubleshoot electrical control systems, sensors, limit switches and motor circuits.

Perform inspections on bearings, shafts, couplings, chains, sprockets and transmission systems.

Repair and maintain hydraulic power packs, cylinders, valves and pneumatic systems.
