Job Description

JOB PURPOSE 
Participate in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of total nursing care to meet the individual needs of patients on the 2 West General Medical Stepdown Unit Horizon Health Network Zone 7 Miramichi in accordance with the vision, values, and mission of Horizon Health Network. 
QUALIFICATIONS 
Current registration as a practicing member of the Nurses' Association of New Brunswick.
Experience and interest in complex acute care
Demonstrates effective clinical competency and critical thinking
Possesses good communication skills and decision-making abilities.
Able to perform charge nurse responsibilities
Demonstrates initiative, good judgment and decision making abilities that contribute to positive health outcomes
Must be flexible and adapt easily in a dynamic environment
