Role Overview

This position supports large-scale aircraft modification, modernization, and aging aircraft sustainment work at a dedicated facility in New York. The Aircraft Modification Mechanic performs mechanical, structural, and wiring modifications on in-service aircraft in accordance with engineering documentation, customer requirements, and approved procedures. The program is expected to ramp in phases and will include a workforce with a mix of experience levels.

Key Responsibilities

Perform aircraft modifications, alterations, rework, and repairs across mechanical, structural, and wiring systems.

Install, remove, and rework interior and exterior aircraft components per engineering specifications.
