Job Description

Perform comprehensive reviews of mortgage loan files in accordance with the Quality Control program and accepted agency standards; including Closed Loan, Discretionary, Prefunding, Early Payment Default, and Fair Lending reviews
Re-underwrite loans to validate borrower eligibility, income, assets, credit, and collateral documentation
Ensure compliance with agency guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA), investor requirements, and internal policies
Perform reverifications (employment, income, assets) as part of QC audits
Review identified loans for possible fraudulent activity 
Review investor/agency repurchase requests and prepare the necessary response for mitigation
Provide response and guidance to compliance related inquiries from operations staff
