Motor Vehicle Mechanic-W1603

Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor or designate, the Motor Vehicle Mechanic performs skilled mechanical service, inspection and repair activities on a wide range of municipal vehicles and equipment. The role requires the expertise and competency of a licensed Motor Vehicle Technician holding a 310T (Truck and Coach Technician) and 310S (Automotive Service Technician) Certificates of Qualification, ensuring all work meets regulatory and safety standards.

Main Duties:

• Conducts repairs, service and inspections on a variety of engine types including gasoline, diesel, hybrid, CNG, battery electric and propane in accordance with established methods and procedures.
• Focus on quality customer service and continuous improvement, supporting the corporate values and strategic plans of the City of London.
