Responsibilities
- Complete scans effectively and efficiently:
- Collect pertinent data about the patient and the procedure
- Select the most appropriate, cost-effective action plan after reviewing all pertinent data and assessing the patient's abilities and condition
- Screen the patient for ferrous and RF-sensitive material before the patient enters the magnetic field
- Position and prepare patients for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures
- Select appropriate immobilization devices
