Position Summary: Provide information about museum displays, sell merchandise and provide exceptional guest service.
Duties:
Greet and welcome customers Ascertain customer needs and desires Provide information about the museum, displays and history Describe merchandise and services available Recommend, select and/or help locate or obtain merchandise Answer inquiries pertaining to museum, hotel services, and local attractions and activities. Compute sales prices and total purchases Manage cash drawer and process cash, check and credit card payments Balance revenue at the end of the shift All other duties as assigned Position Requirements
Education, Knowledge and Skills:
Customer service experience preferred Knowledge of antique cars and Fairbanks/Alaska history preferred
