Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver music lessons based on students’ individual learning needs and examination syllabi.
- Teach music theory, aural skills, sight‑reading and practical performance techniques.
- Prepare students for international music examinations, recitals, concerts, competitions and performances.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain student assessments, progress reports and educational records.
- Create a positive, engaging and safe classroom environment.
- Adapt teaching methods and lesson plans to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Encourage student participation in musical activities, ensembles, choirs, bands and school events.
- Stay updated with examination board requirements and current teaching methodologies.
