DAY NANNY — ALTERNATING TWO-WEEK SCHEDULE
Acreage near Medicine Hat
A predictable, on-the-books caregiving role with two full weeks off, every other two weeks — built for someone who wants structured part-time work without the unpredictability.
ABOUT US
We're a family on a quiet acreage about 30 minutes from Medicine Hat, welcoming our first baby this November. My husband works away on a fixed two-weeks-away / two-weeks-home rotation, and we're looking for warm, dependable daytime care for our little one during the weeks that parent is away.
THE SCHEDULE (the part that makes this rare)
- Two weeks on, two weeks off. You work the stretch one parent is away, and you're completely free the weeks they're home.
- The rotation is set a full year in advance, so you'll always know your days well ahead — no guesswork, no last-minute scrambles.
- About 8 hours a day to start, expanding to roughly 9.5 hours as we settle into a routine.
