Naval Architect

Job description: Perform vessel/ barge intact & damage stability calculations. Perform vessel/ barge longitudinal strength calculations. Perform vessel/ barge deck local strength calculations. Perform accelerations/ sea fastening calculations. Perform mooring and load out calculations. Perform towing resistance calculations. Perform module structural integrity check. Perform steel structural calculations and design. Perform heavy lift & transportation calculation & design. Liaise with marine warranty surveyors and/ or classification societies. Meeting with client for technical discussion. Provide engineering support to Construction/Commissioning work at site. Willing to travel Requirements: Degree in Naval Architecture. At least 2 yrs working experience in shipbuilding, ship or marine design is preferred.
