Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Systems Engineer to support secured communications for FEMA’s Office of National Continuity Programs in Northern Virginia. The role will be responsible for a wide variety of telecommunications platforms.
Candidate must be local to the DMV and able to work onsite.
Responsibilities may include the following:
Manage the configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and deployment of Cisco networking equipment, to include Cisco integrated services routers, Cisco aggregation services routers, and Cisco switches.
Plan, configure, test, and implement new network architecture elements associated with LAN/WAN expansion and existing customer base augmentation.
Provide configuration and administration support for data center assets.
Manage inventory control documents and life cycle maintenance schedules associated with operational equipment.
