Job Description
- 3-5+ years of hands-on routing/switching experience -- CCNA level - configuration, implementation, and maintenance/troubleshooting
- Preferably has a within leadership/mentoring - will have two junior-mid level engineers under this person.
- strong network monitoring (VDOT uses Nagios, but other tech like SolarWinds will suffice).
- firewall experience -- Cisco FTDs in their environment.
Description
This role will be directly supporting the network/systems environment for VDOT's Traffic Operations Center (TOC) in Northern Virginia.
