Job Description
Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Network Engineer (NOC L1/L1.5) for their Durham, NC location. Responsibilities:
+ Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to routing protocols and switch configurations.
+ Optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
+ Implement and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and other Layer 2 technologies.
+ Ensure network security by applying best practices and performing regular audits.
+ Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and upgrades.
+ Provide technical support and resolve network-related incidents.
+ Plan and execute firmware upgrades and patch management.
