Network Site Survey Engineer (Freelance)

Scope of Work

• Site Access and Security: Register entry, comply with local protocols, note escort requirements.
• Location Documentation: Capture GPS coordinates, photograph main demarcation point, record comms room location.
• Cable Route Measurement: Measure distance between demarcation point and comms room.
• Network Rack Assessment: Record rack details (ID, height, occupied/free U, device types), check stability, capture photos.
• Floor Space and Power Readiness: Measure floor area, verify power feeds, UPS, cooling, grounding.
• Network Device Inventory: Record WAN/LAN devices, ports, interfaces, patch panels.
• Compliance and Operational Checks: Note change freeze dates, compliance standards, access control, delivery capabilities, language preferences, risks.
