The New Graduate Registered Nurse is a licensed nurse with less than one year of acute care experience. Upon hire, the New Graduate Registered Nurse is referred to as a Nurse Resident and is automatically enrolled into the Nurse Residency Program.
The Nurse Residency Program is a year long mandatory program that consists of in-person classes called seminars. The seminars are held once a month for four hours and Nurse Residents are required to attend each seminar and attend make-up seminars if one is missed.
