Night Shift Clinical Lab Scientist / Med Tech

The Medical Technologist/CLS implements the hospital and laboratory mission, goals, and objectives. This includes the performance of clinical laboratory exams, proficient testing, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation, testing management, instructing and evaluating students, and other functions toward the attainment of these goals. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) Experience: One year experience in an approved laboratory, the internship year is applicable. Education and Training: Bachelor's degree required. Twelve months of clinical education in a school of medical technology or its equivalent accepted by certification agencies. License, Certification & Registration: MTCLSC - Certified Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist through ASCP or NCA or CLIA approved equivalent.
