Hauptaufgaben

Performs therapeutic measures prescribed and delegated by the medical officer (for example, medications may be administered orally, subcutaneously, intradermally, intramuscularly, intravenously, rectally and topically); application of heat, cold, and pressure or of surgical dressings; irrigations of body cavities. Demonstrates knowledge of patient safety practices. Prepares patient for diagnostic and/or surgical procedures based on patient's age, size, and type of procedure. Instruct others in the use of simple and specialized equipment as appropriate to the clinical area. Accurately and promptly implements provider's orders.
