Advanced Practice Provider - UAB Vascular Neurology/Stroke Consult Team The following APPs may be considered for this role: Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Work schedule: Full-time Benefited 8 hr - Evening shifts (2pm-10pm) Weekends/Holidays are required No on-call time -CME allowance: Full-time APPs receive an annual $2,000.00 CME allowance. This can be used for recertification, fees, CMEs, etc. that occur after a new employee's start date. The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for responding to all code stroke events or stroke related neurology consult requests throughout the hospital; they will be actively involved in the ongoing discussion of treatment plan with the attending physician on call.
