Job Summary: Utilizes advanced knowledge and clinical expertise to provide specialized health care to individuals, families, groups and communities across the health-illness continuum.Additionally, functions as a consultant, educator, researcher, resource and role model for patients, families, community, nursing and other health care providers.Practices within the legal scope of practice.
Responsibilities:
Assesses the health status of patients by performing a comprehensive health history, physical examination and the collection of various data to analyze and formulate appropriate diagnoses and a problem list.
Implement appropriate interventions which may include pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, invasive procedures, education, counseling, and initiating healthcare and community referrals.
