Job Description
At Carl we are building voice AI technology to transform how the automotive industry engages with customers. We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to take full ownership of our AI pipeline, and build something new from the ground up.
Carl is founded by serial entrepreneurs who have successfully founded, built and exited companies in the automotive marketplace space. With Carl we are solving a set of persistent, high-impact problems across the industry - inefficient customer communication, missed appointments, and slow response times. Using AI, we help automotive businesses operate 24/7, starting with natural, human-like voice assistants.
**What you will do**:
This is a hands on role, where you will:
Own our AI pipeline end-to-end: from speech-to-text, through LLM prompt engineering, to text-to-speech
Evaluate and implement commercial models (or fine-tune our own if that’s the best option) to boost performance and reduce latency
