**The challenge we solve**
On land, the GPS and other GNSS constellations give precise information about where we are. Same is true for any equipment we tag with such positioning units. However, as soon as you go below water, the positioning becomes much more complicated. We at OSAC have developed a new system that we have called PingMe to solve this issue by measuring the positioning of our sensors, attached to for example a fishnet, relative to a known position, such as a ship. In addition to giving precise subsea positioning, our system has integrated sensors for measuring variables such as temperature and pressure, and these data can be communicated to vessels within a few kilometers for real-time updates. If the vessel has Internet access our cloud services will be updated in real-time as well.
