OB Hospitalist in Central Connecticut - Academic

The most comprehensive, integrated health care system in the state of Connecticut has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced OB-GYN to provide services as an OB Laborist.

About the Opportunity:

• 12-hour and 24-hour inpatient shifts available
• 868-bed tertiary academic center with a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU
• This site is responsible for the training of the 40 OB-GYN residents
• Provide call coverage and L&D support
• Care for inpatient OB and GYN patients and provide OB and GYN consultations on the floor and in the Emergency Department
• Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives, or advanced practice nurses
• Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team
• Member of patient safety and quality review committees
• Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine
