BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors, is currently recruiting for a passionate safety professional to join our dedicated Safety, Health and Environmental team. As a Senior Occupational Safety Specialist, you will play a key role in improving our Health and Safety Programs at our San Diego shipyard site, while reporting to the Site Safety Manager.

As an Occupational Safety Specialist, Senior, you will:

+ Partner with management, staff, and employees to promote and support a safety culture that prioritizes the well-being of all employees through our Safety Management System (SMS).
+ Develop strategies to remove or mitigate risks related to identified workplace hazards.
+ Lead incident investigations, collaborating with stakeholders to identify root causes, contributing factors and implement preventive measures.
