Job Description Summary:
Competently interpret the patients' history and baseline level of function and then to complete an assessment appropriate to the patients' areas of deficits. Based on problems identified, the occupational therapist establishes and carries out a plan of care to include patient treatment and reassessment, patient/family instruction, discharge planning, documentation in the medical record and communication with physicians and other medical staff.
