Office and procurement specialist (Isla Guadalupe)

Dematic is seeking a Strategic Buyer to join our Procurement Supply Chain Solutions team. This person will be responsible for supporting procurement activities and objectives within spares parts environment. The Procurement Specialist / Strategic Buyer will drive the strategy of the sourcing category in North America. The individual is expected to procure direct materials for multiple categories such as: metal fabrication, electronics, motors, belts, plastics and others. This role will require the employee to be in office 3 days or more depending on the business requirements.

• Lead cost-reduction initiatives across assigned commodities through competitive sourcing, value engineering, and supplier consolidation.
