OnSite Environmental Technician III

POSITION SUMMARY: The Onsite Environment Technician III manages hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensures regulatory compliance, performs spill response, and conducts waste stream sampling at client facilities. The incumbent will package waste for transport, inspect containers, consolidate chemicals, and maintain comprehensive documentation and records to support the client's and Republic Services' sustainability goals.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Collects, packages, and labels hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
+ Performs chemical bulking and consolidation for efficient disposal.
+ Inspects drums for container integrity and compliance with regulations.
+ Ensures the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
+ Conducts waste stream sampling and profiling.
+ Operate and maintain site equipment, including forklifts.
