Open Interviews are located at 1501 Cherry Street, Erie, PA 16502
Hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
+ Safely grind parts
+ Preform quality inspections to ensure iron meets proper specifications
+ Remove gating and sprue from casting. Ensure that castings are not marked with hammer strike.
+ Sort large quantity of obvious scrap castings and notify supervisor.
+ Ensure that all castings are removed from sorting conveyor line to proper tubs or conveyors.
+ Operate Cleaning Press and small punch press to remove sprue without marking castings.
+ Operate cut off saw.
+ Operate hydraulic wedger.
+ Operate small cleaning machine.
