Open Rank Faculty - Variable Track

The Division of Infectious Diseases at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for a Open Rank on the variable track. Duties will include, but are not limited to: General ID consultations at UNC Medical Center and UNC Hospitals’ Hillsborough Campus, with an average census of approximately - adult medical, surgical, and/or behavioral health inpatients; Participation with ambulatory and inpatient ‘e-consult’ and/or tele-ID consult requests; Occasional supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows in inpatient and ambulatory settings; Assisting clinical leadership with quality improvement efforts for our inpatient consultation services; Participation in weekly ID case conferences and grand rounds; and will serve as the Associate Medical Director of Infection Prevention.
