Position Description
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at The University of Texas seeks to fill up to four full-time non-tenure track Professor of Instruction (open rank) positions in Inorganic or Physical Chemistry. We seek candidates with interests and experience in experimental design and with the use and troubleshooting of analytical instrumentation, including chromatographic, electrochemical, and spectrophotometric techniques. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to oversee, design, and teach general and inorganic and/or physical chemistry lecture and laboratory courses in person using student-centered, active learning, and inquiry-based approaches.
