Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse – OperatingRoom provides specialized perioperative care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role requires expertise in surgical protocols, sterile techniques, and patient safety standards. The nurse collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient and safe operations while delivering compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including assessments and pre-operative education
Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations
Maintain sterile field and enforce infection control protocols
Administer medications and monitor patient responses during surgery
Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
