Job Description
We are hiring an Operations Assistant to be deployed at a government secondary school in Yishun. This is a hands-on operational role covering facilities management, landscaping, contractor coordination, and general maintenance. You will work closely with the school's Operations Manager and be part of the day-to-day running of the school campus.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
No weekend or public holiday work required.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct daily walkabout inspections: check for mosquito breeding, pest issues, vandalism, water blockage, building seepage, and canteen hygiene
Liaise with and supervise term contractors on campus (building, electrical, landscaping)
Perform simple repairs and carpentry tasks (e.g., cutting padlocks, minor fixtures)
Resolve basic electrical faults such as power trips
Maintain the school's landscaping including plant trimming, fishpond upkeep, and the spice garden
