Operations Support Specialist (OSS)

Summary

/Objective:The Operations Support Specialist (OSS) is responsible for the coordination of material being stocked, pulled, and issued to customer orders from other inventories or WIP cages. They are also responsible for processing, packaging, shipping and receiving of material within the shipping department. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Ensure orders are fulfilled on time, daily, by monitoring material location and MSD (manufacturing start date)

Identify corrective action needs when orders are missed within the inventory department and other departments to improve on time delivery (OTD).

Check emails, expedites, and work centers for material needs.

Ensure correct reschedule code is entered together with realistic date for any order that is past due in a timely fashion.

Run deficiency report for material shortages in all areas, CI and WIP.

Enter approved material into CI from engineering.
