Operator II – Water Treatment Plant Operator
The Operator II position assists the Chief Operator at the Carrizo water treatment plant, well fields, and treated water delivery system in delivering potable water from the Carrizo plant to its customers at the required rate based on customer demand. The Carrizo treated water delivery system must meet or exceed the Safe Drinking Water Act standards, as enforced by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The Operator II is expected to have a good working knowledge of groundwater treatment plants, their general maintenance and operational activities, well fields, and potable water transmission systems.
