Job Description
Join Ciena in Ottawa as an Optical Product NPI Program Manager. Spearhead product launches and collaborate with R&D and Operations for smooth production ramp-ups.
In this key role at Ciena, you will lead the introduction of innovative optical products into production. Your responsibilities will encompass managing project milestones, coordinating with diverse teams, and ensuring the success of new product launches. You will play an instrumental role in collaborating with the Modem R&D and Ciena Prototype Lab.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead projects involving R&D and Operations Engineering
• Define and manage project deliverables and schedules
• Maintain tracking of Operations key deliverables
• Ensure all team members are informed of project status
• Oversee proto builds and production operations ramp-up
Requirements:
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields
• 3-5 years in project management
• Proficient in leadership and problem-solving
