Oral Medicine Specialist - Hospital & Specialist Dentistry Service (HSD)

About the role

We are seeking an Oral Medicine Specialist to join our busy Hospital & Specialist Dentistry team in Auckland. This full-time (1.0 FTE) permanent position is based at Greenlane Clinical Centre in Epsom, Auckland, and offers financial relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Provision of comprehensive hospital-based oral medicine services, including managing patients with complex oral mucosal and potentially malignant diseases, oral disease that manifests as a systemic disease, and complex orofacial pain.
• Collaborate with existing oral medicine consultants and the multidisciplinary team of dental specialists and dentists.
• Participate in research opportunities.

Qualifications

• Eligible for registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand as an Oral Medicine Specialist.
• Excellent work record.
• Ability to integrate as part of a team.
• Desire for public service.
