**Job Overview**

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of a pharmacy area. Works independently, without direct supervision to direct and coordinate the activities of a pharmacy area which includes the direct supervision and coordination of both professional and support staff. Ensures pharmacy practice is performed within alignment of department policies and procedures. Responsible for promoting best pharmacy practices within the assigned area, within the constraints of state and federal laws, rules and regulations. Works to identify operational improvements in order to provide for the most efficient and high-quality pharmaceutical care possible in the assigned area of responsibility.
