OBJECTIVE OF THE OFFICE/DEPARTMENT

Requisition for a National PAHO Consultant at the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO)/Regional Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Brasília, Brazil.

Purpose of Consultancy

To provide technical assistance in health intelligence, emergency response and disaster management, strengthening surveillance systems, and supporting the development of intelligence centers in Brazil.

Responsibilities

1. A) Support implementation and strengthening of communities of practice in health intelligence, promoting experience exchange, knowledge consolidation, and inter‑institutional coordination.
2. B) Provide technical support for the development and strengthening of Health Intelligence Centers at national and subnational levels.
