**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As a Paramedic, you will provide advanced emergency medical care and transport to critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
Every day you will rapidly assess scenes, evaluate conditions, and administer life-saving interventions, while safely operating emergency vehicles and documenting care.
To be successful, you will demonstrate expert clinical skills, exceptional critical thinking under stress, and compassionate communication, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
+ While working under physician medical oversight, the Paramedic will assure quality of care by following the scope of practice provided by the National EMS Scope of Practice Model and further outlined by the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services. In addition, the individual is to align their role within functions set forth by CHI Saint Joseph Health.
