Job Description
Paramedic Position
This position is responsible to provide basic and advanced life support at the scene of an accident or illness and during transport under the direction of the MH Emergency Medical Services (EMS) protocols as approved by the EMS medical director and/or online medical control. This position can also provide basic and advanced life support care at the hospital under the direction of the registered nurse or provider. This position is diverse, multifaceted and serves a broad spectrum of age groups. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Current licensure as a Paramedic by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Emergency Medical Service Commission.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a minimum of three years of satisfactory driving performance.
