Part-Time Prison Chaplain: Pastoral Support & Volunteers

Tira Tūhāhā Prison Chaplaincy Aotearoa is seeking an experienced individual to support prisoners with pastoral care inside the prison. Candidates should have a deep faith and pastoral experience, alongside knowledge of te reo and tikanga Māori.

The successful applicant will coordinate religious services, provide individual and group support, and lead volunteers. A formal theological qualification is preferred, and good IT skills, specifically in Office 365, are essential.

This position requires the right to work in New Zealand and includes background checks. You will help prisoners during challenging times away from loved ones.
