Part Time Registered Nurse at Extendicare

Provide essential resident care as a part time Registered Nurse at Extendicare. You'll handle medication administration, assessments, and collaborate closely with the Director of Health and Wellness.
As a Registered Nurse, you will report to the Director of Health and Wellness/DOC, ensuring high-quality care for residents in a warm environment. Your role includes managing care plans, coordinating with the nursing team, and responding to medical emergencies, while focusing on compliance with Extendicare policies. Engage with residents and their families to educate them about care and address concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete and update residents’ care assessments
• Assist in scheduling care conferences
• Order and safekeep medications and narcotics
• Supervise and delegate tasks to unregulated care providers
